Is there hope for our country now?

Anwar won with a landslide victory a majority more than his wife (15,671 majority). Will Anwar be able to change our country? I hope so. I watched one of his speech in youtube and there's a statement from him that I like a lot from him.

It sounds something like this :

"I want to change the country such that
when you see a chinese kid, you will treat he/she like your own kid;
when you see a malay kid, you will treat he/she like your own kid;
when you see a indian kid, you will treat he/she like your own kid; "

It is my wish and dream to see that come true in 50 years as it is impossible to do that now as the young generations had their mind washed with the words such as,

"YOU ARE A CHINESE"
"YOU ARE A MALAY"
"YOU ARE AN INDIAN"

I wish that someday we will not see other ethics based on their ethics, religion, or the color oof their skin but see them as a true MALAYSIAN.

However, he must be able to come out save from the allegation that he sodomized Saiful. Or else ke won't be able to be a parliamentarian for long.

A spate of news reports quoting the Speaker as saying that the oath-taking ceremony to swear in the winner of the Permatang Pauh by-election today would most likely be held in mid-October and that he did not see any urgency to “fix a quick date” has raised eye-brows all round and thrown up a flurry of questions.

WHy is that so??

Well, let's say that our 'honorable'' PM is going to present the budget 2009 this Friday and he doesn't want to see Anwar sitting in from of him as the head of opposition.

Lol... chicken!!
